The Nar Phu valley inhabitants are mostly of Tibetan culture and still practice their own form of Buddhism which is spectacular to witness. Nar Phu Valley trek is one of the famous adventurous treks in Nepal which investigate the hidden valley of Nar Phu and provide you an outstanding experience of genuine wilderness. Visiting virtually untouched villages that are surrounded by around 7000m peaks provide your sense of contentment during the trail. Explore around the secret valleys of Nar Phu just north of the Annapurna and reach new heights while trekking through 2 high altitude passes: the Thorang and Kang is another amazing thing that Nar Phu valley offers us. Opened in 2003 these phases never fail to astonish in terms of views and adventure. How to get to the Nar Phu Valley?
The Nar Phu Valley trek is considered as the perfect experience for nature lovers who desire to experience something different and new. So how to get to the Nar Phu Valley? This trek starts from Jagat, Chame after a 9 hours scenic drive from Kathmandu and hikes largely on the same trail as Annapurna Circuit Trek. The trail heads more north to Koto and Meta from where we start to enter the Nar Phu Valley upstream. After exploring the Valley we head to Manang and the Thorang La Pass the same way as the Annapurna Circuit goes!
 During the Nar Phu Valley trek, you can see over 140 high snow-peaks, high altitude grazing settlements, ancient villages, the secluded Tashi Lhakhang Gompa, high alpine vallies above Phu and many more.   • Visit Vrage village where the Himalayan Rescue Association is
  • Explore around the Barge Monastery, the largest monastery of Manang

  • Continue through the Manang village by crossing a stream
  • Climbs towards Tenki village and climb out of the Marshyangdi Valley
  • Follow the valley of the Jarsang Khola
  • Pass a few pastures and a scrub of juniper trees
  • Head by a small village called Ghunsa, a cluster of flat mud roofs 
  • Trek through meadows where you can witness horses and yaks graze
  • Reach at Yak Kharka, a small village

  • Pass Ledar village and ascend furthermore and traverse through towering cliffs

  • Head up to the Thorong La pass, one of the highest passes in the world
  • Cross the mountain pass from east to west (Manang to Muktinath)
  • Take a few photos of the Thorong La pass, the natural beauty before heading to Muktinath Valley

  • Arrival in Muktinath
  • Visit the Muktinath temple with its 108 water sprouts
